Suspected Coronavirus Patient KIMS hospital in Hubballi
Few days back on 2nd Feb a person who was having symptoms of Corona virus was admitted to KIMS and his blood sample was sent for test to National Institute of Virology, Bangalore Unit and on 4th February 1:00 PM report was received as Negative. This news created panic amongst people and the report gave them a huge relief
There is another similar kind of situation yesterday i.e. on 6th Feb 2020 a person from Dandeli Uttara Kannada District who came recently from China to his hometown was suffering from high fever. On suspected he was kept in special ward and blood samples was collected and sent to Labs in Bangalore and Mumbai. Health minister said in a press talk there is no need to be worried as there is no positive report of coronavirus till date in Karnataka however 3 case has been tested positive in state of Kerala. The patient from Dandeli was kept in isolation. The district surveillance officer and DHO on consultation with the doctors discharged the patient as he was not having any symptoms of Corona Virus during discharge and he was stable. However his blood sample is been sent to Bangalore and Mumbai Labs.
As per the report from NEWS9. On prelimary checkup he was not having symptoms of any kind of having Coronavirus as he was stable after 2 weeks on having high fever he has been discharged on the same day. However his blood has been sent to Mumbai and Bangalore for test purpose.
