1. Sushant Singh Rajput - 34 Years


Sushant Singh Rajput reportedly died by suicide on June 14, 2020, at his residence in Bandra, Mumbai. He was born on 21 January 1986. He started his career by the show in Star Plus Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil (2008), followed by an award-winning performance in Zee TV Pavitra Rishta (2009-2011). Rajput made his film debut in drama Kai Po Che (2013) and he had been nominated for the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. His portrayal of former Indian Cricket team captain M S Dhoni made him be recognized as one of the leading actors in the Indian film industry.





2. Chiranjeevi Sarja - 39 years


Chiranjeevi Sarja died at the age of 39 years at a private hospital in Bengaluru due to cardiac arrest. Sarja was brought to Apollo hospital in serious condition and attempts to revive him failed and was declared dead by the doctor.





3. Jiah Khan - 25 years


Jiah Khan is a British-American actress who was known for films like Nishabd with Amitabh Bachchan and Film Ghajini with Aamir Khan. She died at her residence in Mumbai at an age of 25 years on June 3, 2013. It was declared as suicide and reconfirmed as suicide in 2016 by CBI investigation and a hearing at the Bombay High Court.





4. Divya Bharti - 19 years


Divya Bharti was born on 25 February 1974 and died on 5th April 1993 at an age of 19 years. She died as she slipped and fell from her house balcony on 5th floor in Mumbai. The actress was fast on her way to becoming a superstar. Her film Shola Aur Shabnam gained her a lot of name as an actress and a performer, and ‘Deewana’ and ‘Balwan’ were no less. However, at the age of 19, the actress fell to her death. The circumstances of this early death remain mysterious till this date.




5. Madhubala- 36 years


Madhubala was Bollywood's most iconic female actress, she died at an age of 36. She passed away after battling Congenital heart disease. In a span of 36 years became a star with films like Mughal-e-Azam, Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi, Mahal and many more.





6. Silk Smitha - 35 years


Vijaylakshmi also is known as Silk Smitha was the queen of sensuality in Tamil cinema during her time. She died at the age of 33 as a result of suspected suicide in 1996. She was into more controversies and have done more than 200 films in her lifetime.





7. Guru Dutt - 39 years


Guru Dutt was a great actor and director. His film that he made that was a box office failure was Kaagaz Ke Phool, which also became a cult classic a few years later. Although it is said that he committed suicide, the cause of his death still remains a mystery.





8. Soundarya -31 years


Soundarya was born on 25th July 1972 and died on 17th April 2004. She played prominent roles in many films in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi film industry. She died due to a plane crash when she was on her way to Andra Pradesh to campaign for BJP. She received National Film Award for Best Feature Film in 2002 for the Kannada film Dweepa.





9. Meena Kumari - 39 years


Meena Kumari was born on 1st August 1933 and Died on 31 March 1972 at an age of 38 years. She died due to her alcohol addiction leading to her liver cirrhosis. ‘Pakeezah’ was a huge success and a legendary film, 3 weeks after which, she succumbed, having lived a professionally successful life. Personally, her life was spent longing for her husband, Kamal, the only man she ever married.





10. Kuljeet Randhawa - 30 years


The actress had just turned 30 when she was found hanging dead from a fan in her home. Her friend Nafisa had done the same. The actress had become popular after working in a TV series ‘Kohinoor’. She had done great projects in her past including CATS and could have done a lot more in her future.





11. Nafisa Joseph - 26 years


The model and VJ had been the Miss India Universe of 1997 and had been a finalist in the Miami Miss Universe competition the same year. She was found hanging to her fan in her apartment at the age of 26 when her marriage to her businessman fiancé, Gautam Khanduja was canceled.





12. Pratyusha Banerjee - 24 years


The actress had everything she could ever have wanted. Her career graph was going up, she had fame and a lot of money. However, she also had an abusive, exploitative, and dominating boyfriend. The “Balika Vadhu” actress was only 24 when she was found dead, apparently having hung herself to a fan in her Goregaon home. She had warned her boyfriend beforehand about this suicide in her WhatsApp conversation, and the case becomes more complicated as more aspects of it open up.





13.Taruni Sachdev -14 years


The actress had been leading a successful career and aspired to become an actress when she grew up. She was also called the Rasna Girl because her advertisement for Rasna was so popular. she had even worked with Big B in the movie ‘Paa’, who also sent his condolences to her way when she died in a plane crash in Nepal at the age of 14.





14. Aarthi Agarwal - 31 years


The actress entered Bollywood as a teenager. She was barely 16 when her first film ‘Pagalpan’ released. Later in life, she tried to commit suicide as her relationship with a Bollywood actor did not work out and her career in Bollywood was also dying. However, she moved to the South industry and was doing fairly well until she started to gain weight, and consequently diseases surrounded her. She went to America to get a liposuction surgery done, which resulted in a cardiac arrest that killed her.
