Delhi Guinness World Record has recorded the Indian count of tigers as one of the success stories. This survey of the tiger in 2018 was one of the largest camera trap surveys for tiger population in the world. India placed camera traps in 26,838 locations across 141 sites in 2018 and maintained a record of all the footage.
