A viral video is been circulated in Dandeli about medical waste disposed carelessly in the River near the bridge which is approximately 2 KM from Dandeli. The author in the video claims, he had come for fishing 15 days back and today he came again for fishing, and from the top of the bridge, he noticed some strings, hand gloves, and thermometer.

He claims the location is  0.5 km after Asha Kiran ITI college Dandeli also known as Vajra Nala (Name of the location). This video has created an alarm as the disposed of medical waste might have been infected and would spread the infection if it came in contact with others. And also this water where the medical waste is thrown goes to the Sangam river and joins River Kali.

However, the person in the video is not sure whether it has been disposed of by hospital or any other institution. The person in the video wants this video to reach the authorities and proper enquiry should be done as this is the pandemic situation and most of them are affected by COVID-19. If this medical waste is contaminated by any corona patient then it would become a disaster.
