Dandeli As the cases are increasing in the city of Dandeli recently it was announced there would be one week voluntary lockdown in Dandeli. But today there was no social distance maintained in the City as the people of Dandeli were panic and started to buy essential items.


Was it a fail of authority? or Failure of social responsibility by citizens of Dandeli?

As the lockdown in Dandeli was about to begin from Saturday afternoon at 3:00 pm i.e. today people started to hoard items and started to buy items in panic. CMC Dandeli had announced about the lockdown two days back and clearly mentioned except Pharmacy, Hospital and Milk everything else will be not available during the lockdown period i.e for at least one week from Monday 20 July 2020. In the video, it is clearly seen there was no social distance maintained, and few of them were seen not wearing a mask in the video. As the case in Dandeli is already crossed 100 and seeing this social distancing people it won't be a surprise if more number of cases are seen in Dandeli in coming days.

One more thing that created panic amount people in Dandeli. Most of the hospitals are seal down due to the corona cases registered linking to the hospital in Dandeli. So it might be difficult for the citizen of Dandeli if any of them face serious health problems. It has been noted many councilors are taking adequate steps in warning their ward members using Whatsapp group chat regarding the same.
